The Group Leader's role is to:

• Develop and maintain a sustainable Scout Group that meets the needs of the youth in the local community.

• Ensure that the Group delivers high quality Scouting programs to its youth members.

• Promote Scouting in the Group's community.

• Ensure that the Group has the necessary human, financial and physical resources to play the 'game of Scouting'.
