Scouts is one of the best kept secrets for young people aged 11 to 14, and no wonder! It is the biggest and most successful youth organisations in Australia - not to mention the world - with thousands of boys and girls enjoying an almost unlimited range of activities.

Scouts Canoeing

As a Scout you'll receive instruction in a wide variety of outdoor skills, together with the all-important basic theory to make sure you don't get lost and can deal with life’s emergencies. You’ll go on camps with a few friends, the whole troop, or join thousands of boys and girls for fun and adventure at a national Jamboree.

Scouts aren't told what to do by adults. Your Scout Leaders are there to help you and give you direction but you are involved in planning your activities and making decisions with the other members of your Scout Troop.

Scout Meetings

Scouts meet on Wednesday nights (during school terms) from 6:30 to 8.30PM. Scouts are also very active on weekends with at least one camp per term (sometimes more), hikes and many more great adventures.

Our Scout Troop can have up to 28 youth members and is lead by up to three Scout Leaders and a Adult Supporter.

Between the age of 14 and 15 the Scouts will complete a "linking process" to move to the Venturer Section.
